Please see the community copies if you wish to check out the game for free.
Pocket Catacombs is a simple 1d6 table-top RPG meant to be playable with only the book, a single six-sided die, and a notepad, either in small bursts on the go or in more traditional long form sessions. It features:
- Save mechanics against danger as the primary means of scenario resolution;
- Characters defined primarily by 3 simple attributes and their gear;
- Four Character classes: the versatile Warrior, clever Rogue, specialized Mage, and powerful Brute;
- HP-less Damage Threshold combat;
- A complete engine for the generation and exploration of the catacombs below;
- Tools to facilitate Game Master led, GM-less, and solo play;
- All in a 77 page pdf or Print-on-demand book that fits in a jacket pocket.
We wrote Pocket Catacombs for ourselves to play during lunch breaks and break up slogging office monotony with something quick, easy to play, and hard to win. We hope you enjoy it.
Print copies are available at Amazon and LuLu.
A royalty free license for developing content for Pocket Catacombs is included, if you so wish to do so.

Sellsword stepped on a blade trap in the first room. Rolled a head injury and then damned (immediately killed). 10/10
reminds me of Diablo 1
We were in the middle of a Diablo 1 playthrough when this was written!
I would like to say I'm very excited to play this! However I wanted to let you know there are quite a few pages that only have an illustration at the bottom with the page number, but no text or stats for the monsters.
I truly appreciate that heads up. Something weird happened to the digital export after we changed a setting for the PoD, and the text ended up just off screen for this export. It will be fixed momentarily.
Hate when that happens, thanks for the prompt fix!
